Shippensburg extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Penn - Colonial this week by beating Northern York, 14-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
West Perry took down Waynesboro 35-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zach Smith threw for 123 yards and one touchdown and ran for 91 yards in the win.
Chase May was the best wideout in the league this week as the Mustangs topped the Indians. May tallied three receptions for 84 yards. Nate Sites helped West Perry's passing attack out by catching two balls for 28 yards.
Ashtin Byers was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 148 yards on 13 carries as Greencastle-Antrim defeated Waynesboro. Teammate Austin Scott added to the ground attack by rushing for 131 yards.
West Perry's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 889 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while May has 25 catches for 465 yards. Smith also leads the league in rushing with 842 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Gettysburg takes on Al Ream's team. The Warriors are currently in fifth, while the Mustangs are in second.
The Blue Devils led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Big Spring. Byers in the win.
