Softball Recap: St. Henry Comes Up Short

St. Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the Newport Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Crusaders have lost by exactly 15 runs.

St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Newport, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Coincidentally, St. Henry and Newport will both be playing Lloyd Memorial the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Juggernauts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
