Softball Recap: Canterbury Takes a Loss

Canterbury fell victim to West Nassau and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 5-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.

Canterbury saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tess Moore, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Moore's first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Canterbury and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for West Nassau, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6.

Canterbury didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 loss against Cooper City on the 5th. As for West Nassau, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Dwyer on the 4th.
