Basketball Recap: South Knox Takes a Loss

South Knox had taken Wood Memorial down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The South Knox Spartans fell 73-61 to the Wood Memorial Trojans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (60), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

South Knox dropped their record down to 11-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Wood Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

South Knox and Wood Memorial are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. South Knox will face off against Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wood Memorial, they will square off against Cannelton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
