Basketball Recap: Jasper Comes Up Short

Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 44-33 to the Midway Vikings. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jasper now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Midway, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-6.

Coming up, Jasper will welcome Liberal at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Midway, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on February 3.
