Emma Borders gave up the fewest hits she has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. She was dialed in as she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She was dominant the last time she took on Madison back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Borders has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
