Polk County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

While Polk County was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-18, 25-19.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was led to victory by Brynne Burkhart and Amanda Gardner. Burkhart had 30 assists and three aces, while Gardner had 11 kills, four digs, and four aces.
