Volleyball Recap: Redfield's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Redfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sisseton Redmen. This was payback for the Pheasants, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Redfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-21.

Ceci Suchor paced Redfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Suchor got some help from Hayden Gall and her ten assists. Finally, Gall was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Redfield's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Sisseton, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Redfield will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sisseton, they will host Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
