Softball Recap: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Norwayne Bobcats

After flying high against Waynedale on Monday, Hillsdale came back down to earth. The Falcons fell 6-3 to the Norwayne Bobcats on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-8 last Wednesday.

Macy Mager put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Mager wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kiki McFadden, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
