Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Harris Key Part of a Team Effort in Generals Win

Towson won the last time they faced Owings Mills and things went their way on Friday too. The Towson Generals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Owings Mills Golden Eagles 65-62.

Towson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Harris, who went 9 of 18 en route to 23 points along with six boards and five assists. Harris is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Korey Collins was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Harris wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Towson was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Towson's record is now 5-7. As for Owings Mills, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Towson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-55 defeat against Franklin on the 21st. As for Owings Mills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-40 loss against Kenwood on the 21st.
