Baseball Recap: Antigo Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mosinee, Antigo was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Lakeland Thunderbirds with a sharp 15-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Robins considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Luke Bastle, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Zach Bula, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

Antigo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Antigo's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.
