Football Game Preview: Huss Huskies vs. Crest Chargers + How To Watch

The Huss Huskies will take on the Crest Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Huss' victory against Forestview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Jaguars 32-29. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ethan Presley went supernova, throwing for 312 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.

Huss didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Lamarion La Adams, Javontae MacKins, and Nazire Davis picked up one apiece. La Adams also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.

Meanwhile, Crest faced South Point in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Chargers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Red Raiders 42-7. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 35 points or more this season.

Crest's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Huss, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Huss was taken down by Crest 35-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Huskies, Aiden Carson (who rushed for 181 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
