Baseball Recap: Huguenot Comes Up Short

Huguenot fell victim to John Marshall and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Justices. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Huguenot saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac DeJesus, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. DeJesus is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Ra'Sean Miller was another, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Huguenot's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for John Marshall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huguenot will head out to challenge Cosby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Marshall, they will venture away from home to take on Freeman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Justices' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
