Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addyson Henderson and Mallory Alexander Lead Canton to Victory

Canton saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Canton was led to victory by Mallory Alexander and Addyson Henderson. Alexander had 16 assists and three digs, while Henderson had five digs. That's the most assists Alexander has posted since back in November of 2024.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin's loss came despite strong showings from Kaydence Hubbard and Alyssa Hill. Hubbard had ten digs and two assists, while Hill had four digs.

Canton's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Coincidentally, Canton and Hill Country Christian School of Austin will both be playing Wimberley the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Texans at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
