Drayton strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Mandaree Warriors to the tune of 80-0. Fans of the Bombers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Drayton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trenten Keena led the charge by rushing for 69 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 57 receiving yards and one TD. Keena has been hot, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last eight times he's played. Max Foss-Pokrzywinski was another key passer, throwing for 137 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Drayton's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Mason Pollestad was the leader with two. Drayton received some extra help from Praise Chairez, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Drayton's record now sits at 7-0.
