Basketball Game Preview: Fordson Tractors vs. Dearborn Pioneers

Fordson hasn't had much luck against Dearborn recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Fordson Tractors are taking a road trip to take on the Dearborn Pioneers at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Fordson was beaten by Belleville 76-35. While losing is never fun, the Tractors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Tigers are ranked 29th).

Meanwhile, Dearborn waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Spartans 74-50. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Dearborn's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Fordson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-10.

Things could have been worse for Fordson, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-48 loss to Dearborn in their previous meeting back in January. Can Fordson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
