Recap: Orrick Bearcats vs. Northland Christian
The Orrick Bearcats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Northland Christian at home to the tune of 60-14.
Jeff Rohde was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 100 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Jonathon Harris, who gained 82 total yards and two touchdowns.
Sam Gliser and Roman Carlson certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Gliser gained 116 total yards and a touchdown, while Carlson rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Orrick's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Northland Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Orrick will face off against Braymer at TBD on Friday. Braymer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten contests -- so hopefully Orrick likes a good challenge. Northland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
