Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Evergreen finally turned things around against Pomona on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Littleton suffered their biggest loss since September 10th on Thursday. They came up short against Conifer, falling 3-0.
While Littleton had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.
Evergreen's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Littleton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
