Baseball Game Preview: Roger Bacon Spartans vs. Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks

The Roger Bacon Spartans will take on the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Roger Bacon lost 13-1 to Badin on Monday. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Roger Bacon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Rosenfeldt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. That hit marked the first that Rosenfeldt got this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Cincinnati Country Day and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy kept the tradition alive. The Nighthawks might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-2 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Cincinnati Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Roger Bacon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
