Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hardaway). They breezed by the Jordan Red Jackets to the tune of 66-38 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Leading Hardaway to victory were A'Nazhe Purnell and Malahkii Scott. Purnell posted 12 points, while Scott put up 12 points. Tristan Jackson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Hardaway's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for Jordan, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Hardaway and Jordan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Hardaway (ranked 461st) will meet Carver (ranked 45th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Jordan (ranked 516th) will meet Sumter County (ranked 182nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
