Elizabeth entered their tilt with Sierra on Thursday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp  16-0 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Faith Carlson was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Aurelia Espinoza, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Larissa Wesbrook was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
 Elizabeth was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .344 or higher in 11 consecutive  games.
Elizabeth's record now sits at 20-2. As for Sierra,  they are  on  a  17-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Elizabeth is set to  face off against  their familiar foe The Classical Academy  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sierra will  square off against  rival Falcon  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
