Ocosta fell victim to Ilwaco and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Fishermen. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Fishermen: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ocosta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ilwaco, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Ocosta will be playing at home against Oakville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Acorns have averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season. As for Ilwaco, they will head out to face off against Adna at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
