Baseball Recap: St. John Paul II Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. John Paul II can now relate to. They lost 7-0 to the North Florida Christian Eagles on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Panthers haven't been shut out since back in February.

St. John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for North Florida Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14.

While St. John Paul II had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
