Softball Recap: Harrison Victorious

Harrison won the last time they faced Kokomo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Wildkats by a score of 7-3.

Lilly Kiefer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Anna Hainje was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Mallory Duell was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Harrison hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kokomo struck out nine times.

The win got Harrison back to even at 1-1. As for Kokomo, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrison will face off against Tri-County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kokomo, they will challenge Peru at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
