Baseball Recap: Sanderson's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Sanderson proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 19) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Enloe Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted against the Eagles since April 29, 2021.

BRADY ROBINSON made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. ROBINSON was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

ROBINSON wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was FINN THOMAS, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Sanderson's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11. As for Enloe, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.
