Recap: Kenton Wildcats vs. Upper Sandusky Rams
Kenton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Upper Sandusky Rams. This was payback for Kenton, who suffered an 11-1 loss the last time these two teams met.
For Upper Sandusky's part, Addie Hoffbauer stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored a run while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Hope Morris was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.
Upper Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Kenton will head out on the road to challenge Indian Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Upper Sandusky, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
