The Wake Prep Academy Guardians will challenge the Nash Central Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nash Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wake Prep Academy, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Wake Prep Academy got the win against American Leadership Academy-Johnston by a conclusive 3-0. The Guardians haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Wake Prep Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding American Leadership Academy-Johnston to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Brenna Barnes had an outrageously good game as she had ten digs and six aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (five).

Meanwhile, Nash Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Bunn.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.

Nash Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Wake Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-5.
