Lincolnwood hadn't done well against Greenfield/Northwestern recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Lancers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 1-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Lincolnwood's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
