Volleyball Recap: Northern Durham Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Northern Durham was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights lost 3-0 to the East Chapel Hill Wildcats on Thursday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-12.

East Chapel Hill was led to victory by Sofia Ferreira and Lucy Tisch. Ferreira had five digs and five aces, while Tisch had eight digs and two assists. That's the most aces Ferreira has posted since back in August.

Northern Durham's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for East Chapel Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Northern Durham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Chapel Hill on the 7th. As for East Chapel Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Cedar Ridge on the 6th.
