Duncanville had won 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Saturday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it 13. They skirted past the Coppell Cowboys 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers and Pantherettes have posted since October 29, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coppell fell to 6-1. The match marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Zoey Ponsen and Molly Williams certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Ponsen had eight digs and two aces, while Williams had 11 digs and four assists. Brooke Felix also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duncanville will welcome South Grand Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coppell, they will face off against Highland Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
