Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern was the 3-2 winner over Central Dauphin when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Northeastern fell just short of Central Dauphin by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Northeastern's offense was headlined by Hugh Rogers and Ryan Trexler, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jacob Zambito and his 15 assists. He was also a major player on defense: he and Lincoln Wertz shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Central Dauphin, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Northeastern will face off against Spring Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Dauphin, they will take on Altoona at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
