Soccer Game Preview: Northshore vs. Denham Springs

The Northshore Panthers will take on the Denham Springs Yellowjackets on Monday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Northshore sitting on five straight victories and Denham Springs on ten.

Northshore is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Dutchtown get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering Northshore have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Denham Springs made easy work of Haughton on Thursday and carried off an 8-0 victory. Give Denham Springs' defense some credit: that's the team's ninth straight shutout.

Denham Springs' win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Northshore, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7-3.

Northshore came out on top in a nail-biter against Denham Springs when the teams last played back in December of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
