Volleyball Recap: Costa Mesa Wins Going Away Against Laguna Hills

Costa Mesa's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Laguna Hills Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Costa Mesa walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-20.

Costa Mesa's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Laguna Hills, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Costa Mesa will be playing in front of their home fans against Garden Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laguna Hills, they will face off against Valencia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
