The Togiak Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-31 loss at the hands of Manokotak. Togiak has not had much luck with the Lynx recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Manokotak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jesslynn Logusak, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kelisha Gloko, who scored 20 points.

Togiak's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Manokotak, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Togiak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manokotak will be playing at home against the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chief Ivan Blunka is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
