On Friday Leilani Garcia didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. The effort also marked the fewest earned runs (zero) Garcia has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than one earned run. This season, she has an ERA of 3.56 over 102.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Garcia and Franklin will venture away from home to challenge Monterey Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are 8-1 against the Mustangs going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
