Cascade won the last time they faced Newport and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cascade Cougars blew past the Newport Cubs, posting a 65-16 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Cascade is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. Newport has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
