James Island extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 25-9-1. Everything went their way against the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Swamp Foxes on their court since October 2, 2021.

As for Ashley Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-17. Swamp Foxes fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against James Island since Thursday.

Several Swamp Foxes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cameron Gettings, who had 11 digs and two assists.
