The Cedar Grove Saints fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They were the clear victor by a 31-7 margin over Sandy Creek. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Cedar Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sandy Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Cedar Grove will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carver at 8:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Carver will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 167th, while Cedar Grove is ranked 48th). Sandy Creek will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Douglass at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
