Basketball Recap: Crookston Comes Up Short

Crookston was the 68-58 winner over Frazee when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Crookston Pirates took a 58-41 bruising from the Frazee Hornets on Tuesday.

Crookston dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Frazee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Crookston will venture away from home to challenge Fosston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frazee, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hawley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Frazee is facing Hawley at the right time seeing as Hawley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
