Softball Recap: Cocoa Beach Minutemen vs. Father Lopez Green Wave
Cocoa Beach's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 23-8 margin over the Father Lopez Green Wave. The Minutemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 15 runs or more this season.
Cocoa Beach got a massive performance out of Natalia Soto, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Soto also put up a hit, which was her first of the season. Kylie Kahl was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Cocoa Beach kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
