Volleyball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego lost against Lyndon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Oswego was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up nine kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her 13 assists. Finally, Trimble was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Lyndon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Oswego has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Fredonia on the 27th. As for Lyndon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Humboldt on the 27th.
