Basketball Recap: Jasper Extends Winning Streak to Four

Jasper came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 81-69 victory over the Lead Hill Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Tigers on February 4th, they had to take a 69-46 defeat.

Noah Royce and Kaden Baker certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Royce on his way to 31 points and seven boards, while Baker to rack up 22 points and eight rebounds. What's more, Royce posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawson Lively, who earned four points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Lead Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 29-14.

As of now, neither Jasper nor Lead Hill have any future games scheduled.
