Football Game Preview: Chisholm Longhorns vs. Blackwell Maroons

The Chisholm Longhorns will square off against the Blackwell Maroons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Chisholm took a blow against Mount St. Mary, falling 62-14. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Blackwell fell victim to Perry and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of Perry.

Chisholm now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Blackwell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Chisholm against Blackwell when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-6 victory. Will the Longhorns repeat their success, or do the Maroons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
