Basketball Recap: Petal Comes Up Short

Petal lost against South Jones back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell 64-59 to the Braves.

Petal's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Petal won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ocean Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Jones, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Pascagoula at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
