Softball Recap: Caldwell Parish Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Caldwell Parish took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Buckeye, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Caldwell Parish Spartans beat the Buckeye Panthers on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted against the Panthers since March 11, 2021.

Caldwell Parish has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Buckeye dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Caldwell Parish has already played their next matchup, a 15-3 defeat against Bunkie on the 6th. As for Buckeye, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Vidalia on the 6th.
