Basketball Game Preview: Propel Braddock Hills vs. Leechburg Blue Devils

Propel Braddock Hills will venture away from home to take on the Leechburg Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Propel Braddock Hills is looking for their season's first victory.

Last Tuesday, Propel Braddock Hills had to suffer through a 82-36 loss at the hands of Northgate. While losing is never fun, Propel Braddock Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 716th, while Northgate is ranked 290th).

Meanwhile, Leechburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-23 loss at the hands of Sewickley Academy.

Mason Bertino was Leechburg's leading scorer, having posted six points. Jake Cummings held things down on the boards with four rebounds. Brady Rollinger took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Leechburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Propel Braddock Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Propel Braddock Hills came up short against Leechburg in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 51-47. Can Propel Braddock Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
