The Conquerors have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Vandalia Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tabernacle Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Vandalia Christian's way against Tabernacle Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Vandalia Christian made off with an 8-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vandalia Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
