Oil City running back has 11 300-yard games to his credit along with seven 400-yard performances.

Knox is now on the verge of adding the 300-yard game record to his resume. He boosted his career total of 300-yard games to 11, including nine last year, with a 366-yard night in a 44-7 win over Corry (Pa.) last week.

The Oilers' senior is five games from tying Daniel Bangura of Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, Ohio), who had 16 career 300-yard games, including eight in a row as a junior.

The records are part of the MaxPreps National High School Football Record Books, which now has an entry of milestones that include: 100-yard games, consecutive 100-yard rushing games, 200-yard games, consecutive 200-yard games, 300-yard games, consecutive 300-yard games, 400-yard games and consecutive 400-yard games.

Knox holds the mark for career 400-yard games (7) and consecutive 400-yard games (4).

Henry and Michael Hart of Onondaga (Nedrow, N.Y.) hold the record for most consecutive 100-yard games at 47 apiece. Both runners gained over 100 yards in every game of their high school career. While Henry is preparing for his eighth season in the NFL with the Titans, Hart made news as one of four University of Michigan assistants acting as head coach while Jim Harbaugh serves his three-game suspension.

Kevin Park Jr. of West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, N.C.) ranks No. 1 with the most career 100-yard games at 55, according to Salisbury Post writer Mike London.

Henry also holds the record for most 200-yard games, along with Toney Baker of Ragsdale (Jamestown, N.C.), with 32. Travis Henry of Frostproof (Fla.) has the most consecutive 200-yard games at 14.

Kenneth Hall, who at one time held the record for most 100-yard games and most consecutive, rushed over 100-yards 38 times and had 21 consecutive 100-yard outings. Former Detroit Lion Billy Sims held the record at 38 100-yard games in a row for 25 years before Hart broke the record in 2003.
