Volleyball Recap: Copper Hills Grizzlies vs. Herriman Mustangs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Copper Hills had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Herriman Mustangs , sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Grizzlies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Copper Hills got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-15.

Kaitlyn Niebuhr paced Copper Hills' offense, picking up 12 kills. Niebuhr got some help from Tessa Watson and her 32 assists.

Copper Hills is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-16 record this season. As for Herriman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season.
