Basketball Recap: Glynn Academy Terrors vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers
Glynn Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Bradwell Institute Tigers and fell 78-36. The Terrors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-9.
Despite the defeat, Glynn Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ahmad Mcintosh went 7 of 9 en route to 16 points.
Bradwell Institute was led to victory by Jaylin Sweat and Christopher Perry. Sweat almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards, while Perry went 5 for 9 on his way to 15 points along with seven assists and five steals. Those five steals gave Perry a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zi`On Thomas, who posted eight points and four steals.
